Join us at our Summer Gathering
What if we gathered beneath a tree and listened to the stories of this place together?
Join us for an evening celebrating some of our local trees and our relationships with them.
There will be poetry, storytelling, conversation, and the sharing of creative contributions from members of the Bioregional Learning Network.
Whether you're already involved in our work, curious about bioregioning, interested in local nature and history, or simply looking for a gentle summer evening in good company, you are very welcome.
The Bioregional Learning Network is a growing group of people exploring what it means to live in deeper relationship with this place.
Together we are noticing, listening to, and learning from the ecological, cultural, and historical stories that shape life here.
We are learning as we go. We are discovering that paying attention to place can be joyful, creative, hopeful, and much less overwhelming when shared with fellow travellers.

π³ Curious about bioregioning?
A bioregion is a "life-place" β a place understood through its geology, waterways, plants, animals, histories, cultures, and relationships rather than political boundaries.
Bioregioning is the practice of getting to know that life-place more deeply and learning how to live well within it.
π§Ί Curious about bundles?
Bundles are collections of stories, artefacts, observations, maps, poems, and other offerings that help tell the story of a place. They are a way of sharing what we are learning, noticing, and imagining together.
16 people in Dudley have created a Bioregioning Bundle containing poetry, drawings, photography, writing and more celebrating their relationships with trees in our bioregion. Everyone who comes along to the Summer Gathering will be gifted a bundle.
