When the data failed, the geologists turned to poetry. Poetry is all encompassing, and we need new compasses to navigate ways out of the human-centric World conspiring around us.

We see imagination not as escape, but as something much more practical. A kind of infrastructure. Part of the hidden wiring that shapes how we live, organise, and relate. Without it, new ideas struggle to take root. Alternatives remain isolated, fragile, and hard to sustain. With it, communities can begin to envision different futures, rehearse them and slowly bring them into being. This collection draws together our writing on collective imagination and imagination infrastructuring.
